OMNIPLEX World Services Corporation Joins the Integrated Justice Information Systems Institute May 1, 2012
OMNIPLEX has recently joined the Integrated Justice Information Systems Institute (IJIS). OMNIPLEX will add to the IJIS community of knowledge, subject matter expertise and a broad breadth of justice, public safety community, and information sharing experience to the IJIS membership. Eric Zidenberg, Director of OMNISEC Strategic Initiatives, will serve on the IJIS Criminal Justice Information Services Program Advisory Council (CJIS CPAC). The CPAC works closely with the FBI Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) providing operations guidance and assistance for some of the major programs at CJIS such as; (NGI) Next Generation Identification, N-DEx (National Date Exchange), and UCR (Uniform Crime Reporting). Eric will provide an OMNIPLEX presence to the IJIS Institute trusted community of thought leaders from industry. IJIS helps government maximize technology investments and supports important Federal government security and law enforcement missions.
The IJIS Institute is a national organization that brings together industry and government to improve national security and promote effective information sharing across all levels of the justice, public safety, and homeland security communities. The IJIS Institute fosters relationships between industry and government by delivering services and facilitating programs that promote national information technology standards and improve information sharing across jurisdictions at all levels. When questioned about his IJIS role, Eric responded, “I am eager to lead OMNIPLEX forward thinking and provide insight and leadership to identify solutions that may solve intractable criminal justice, public safety, and homeland security community information sharing problems.”
