VA Governor Timothy Kaine Appoints Julien G. Patterson to the Board of Directors, Virginia Economic Development Partnership February 8, 2008
Mr. Julien G. Patterson, Founder and Chairman of OMNIPLEX World Services Corporation and immediate past Chair of the Virginia Chamber of Commerce is one of four appointees to the Board of Directors of the Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP). Mr. Patterson was appointed by Governor Timothy M. Kaine to this six-year term position.
"The appointment of Mr. Patterson to this prestigious and highly sought after board is a reflection of our confidence in Mr Patterson; our respect for his professional success; and our respect for the value of his leadership of the Virginia Chamber and its significant impact on the business climate of the Commonwealth. In his former role as chairman of that organization, he focused the organization, its experience base, and led the successful effort to achieve a measurable impact on business and economic development in Virginia. Mr. Patterson can be expected to make very important contributions to the deliberations of the VEDP board," said VEDP Director Liz Povair.
The Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP) is the Commonwealth of Virginia’s economic development team.
